A woman and a brown bear having been fishing in a Russian lake; an unusual friendship which is hard not to notice

Does bears fish in the woods? The Russian woman’s giant animal companion loves fishing in the Russian forest’s lakes.

People normally have cats, dogs, mice, and birds as pets. If I told you that the lady has a bear for her pet, what would you think? Isn’t it amazing, isn’t it? Let’s hear her story, that’s all.

Archie, a brown bear, and Veronika Dichka, have been spotted while fishing in Novosibirsk, Russia. They ended up being best friends, how did that happen?

Veronika rescued Archie from a safari park two years ago that was running out of business. Archie has been living in a safari park his entire life. Much like any animal living in captivity, it was difficult to readjust to the wild after a long time. So It was difficult to leave him in the wild again. Archie met Veronika in order to change his life forever.

Veronika said. “We rescued him from the safari park but can’t release him into the wild as he has lived in captivity his whole life,”. But, as Archie’s guardian angel, she took Archie with her and they have been together for two years now.

Veronika shared her story with the media “Archie spends every day with us and is madly in love with water. He loves it very much when I take him to new places. We are like family, we share food, sleep in my arms when afraid, and hide behind me. We rescued him from the safari park but can’t release him into the wild as he has lived in captivity his whole life.”

A video shows their quality time on the water, as the pair are like any other friends cherishing each other’s company. Veronika is hugging her furry friend while they are shown with fishing rods in hand.
