Abandoned Kitten Camps Out On Woman’s Doorstep And Demands Help

Little Nuggie did not have her own family. The 6-week-old kitten went far and wide in search of a loving and caring owner. Then, one day when she was too exhausted and hungry to continue, she came into the life of the appropriate person and determined she would be the one to aid her, refusing to accept “no” for an answer.

The day of her rescue, Nuggie placed herself on the windowpane of a nice stranger and begged for assistance. When no one came to her help, she continued to cry. Eventually, Nuggie’s strategy was successful; the homeowner noticed her and brought her inside to keep her safe until a local rescue organization arrived.

May Walsh of Detroit Community Cat Rescue told The Dodo, “A Detroit neighbor called us about a little kitten weighing less than a pound on their porch.” They supplied a snapshot, and we simply could not refuse!

May and her crew took immediate measures to take care of Nuggie. Even though she initially experienced a few minor health difficulties, the situation is improving.

May stated, “She’s healthy and happy.” “She enjoys playing slightly more than cuddling, but she’s still very adorable. She resembles a bug due to her erratic jumping. Her facial hair is longer than her body, so she occasionally trips over them!”

The joyful cat is currently seeking a home where she will never be alone again.

“Nuggie brought me and the shelter so much happiness,” said May. “She is the perfect example of why cat and human rescue is so gratifying!”
