Caretakers stunned after a tiger’s motherly instincts kick in to save her unresponsive twin cubs

The miracle of childbirth is one of the most amazing things that has ever happened in the history of the world. Furthermore, we’re not merely referring to human beings here; rather, we’re referring to all creatures. In this specific case, the birthing process of a tiger fascinates us.

The staff of the Australia Zoo captured very rare and heart-melting footage of a Sumatran tiger giving birth. Unfortunately for Kaitlyn, the female tiger who gave birth to twin cubs, things did not go as planned. Her cubs are unresponsive after being born. But thankfully-to everyone’s astonishment-her motherly instincts quickly kicked in and her twin cubs started breathing again.

Due to the Sumatran tiger’s status as one of the most endangered species on the planet, the entire operation was closely observed. The world’s remaining population of Sumatran tigers is thought to be no more than 600 individuals. To ensure the safety of both mother and baby, zookeepers must be present when the Sumatran female is ready to give birth. If something goes wrong, the team is ready to step in and save the cubs’ and their mother’s lives at any given moment.

Because Kaitlyn was going to become a mother for the first time, it was even more critical that the childbirth process be well monitored. To the surprise of everyone in the room, she acted as if she had extensive experience. In order to activate their lungs, she assisted her babies in breathing on their own. As a result, we can’t wait to watch them grow up!
