What a nice boy
Finding things has always come naturally to Enzo. Therefore, Enzo knew there was no need to panic when his mother recently misplaced her keys while out for a stroll around their home in Sweden since he was on the case.
Enzo’s mother, Caroline, who asked that her last name not be used, told The Dodo, “[I] imagined I’d be looking for them personally.” “When I understood I could let Enzo try.”
Caroline wondered if her dog would be able to find such a small item in the dense grass as she watched him attentively search the roadside.
Suddenly, though, she witnessed Enzo galloping back towards her with joy as the keys jingled in his mouth.
As usual, Enzo was just delighted to assist and didn’t ask for anything in return.
Caroline remarked, “He doesn’t ask for treats or anything when he finds stuff. “I believe he is rewarded by the task itself, as well as to some measure by my joy in telling him how proud I am of him,”
Here is where you can see Enzo looking for the keys:
Enzo loves to assist his mother physically, but he also excels at offering emotional support. Caroline was concerned that she would never be able to overcome the void left in her heart after losing her cherished Dalmatian, Aston, in 2019. But then Enzo showed up.
Caroline added, “[Enzo] has absolutely brought me back and up again.” We are connected in the same special and intense way that I was with Aston, but in a completely different way. I believe that Enzo’s potential is still untapped.
Whether it’s a misplaced set of keys or a broken sense of connection, kind-hearted Enzo is happy to assist his mother in finding anything she requires. He doesn’t require anything in exchange; her happiness is sufficient enough.
