For The First Time In 20 Years, The “Magic Rabbit” Has Been Spotted

Meet the Ili Pika, the most adorable creature you’ve never heard of.

As one of the world’s rarest and most endangered species, this cute creature has only been seen once in the last two decades.

They are reported to have a population of less than 1,000 people, all of whom reside in China.

Since they were first discovered in China’s Tianshan mountains in 1983, more than 70% of their population has vanished.

A teddy bear-like appearance, as well as their closeness to a family favorite, the rabbit, has made them popular.

Li Weidong, the conservationist who found these critters, told CNN that experts had very little information about them.

I discovered the species, and I watched as it became endangered. If it becomes extinct in front of me, I’ll feel so guilty.

It was dubbed the “magic bunny” by him and his employees.
