Giant Cow Tries To Break In House Every Day For The Sweetest Reason

I sprang out of bed and hastened to find out what was happening.

In the middle of the night, Ryan Phillips heard a peculiar pounding at his window and immediately questioned whether or not he had secured his doors. Anyone could have been attempting to enter his Williamsburg, Virginia, home.

Phillips quickly recognized the perpetrator after a brief period of drowsy lucidity.

Phillips wrote on FB that he “woke up to the tremendous sound of thudding,” immediately sprung out of bed, and “rushed to check what was going on.” However, the owner of Life With Pigs Farm Animal Sanctuary recognized it as his rescued cow Jenna pleading for cuddles.

Jenna knocks frequently each day, according to Phillips, who spoke to The Dodo. If we’re dining or just hanging out, she likes to come to the window and stare at us to let us know she’s there.

Depending on what she wants, the routine started when the cow was a few months old and has since developed into one of her favorite activities.

She will use her horns to signal to us that she wants me to come out and give her a hug, according to Phillips. When she sees the overripe bananas through the window or desires carrots, she knows they are hers.

Jenna, who was 3 days old when Phillips saved her, at first moaned because she needed food. Jenna was bottle-fed by Phillips from an early age, so she quickly realized that knocking would get his attention and her milk much more quickly.

According to Phillips, “that first bottle was the beginning of friendship, and from that point on we were great friends.” “I believe she used me as a substitute mother. When the bottles were empty, she would headbutt my tummy in the same way that calves do to their mothers in an effort to get the milk to come out. She is unquestionably my child.

Even though Jenna lives in the sanctuary with many other rescued farm animals, she likes Phillips and will cause a scene until he finds her, even if it’s the middle of the night.

Phillips stated, “She knows she’s loved, safe, and that everyone cherishes her. “I can’t picture life without her. Every day when I wake up, I’m happy to see her. I’m simply so grateful to have a 1,400-pound best buddy who enjoys cuddling up in her barn for hugs and visits.
