There is no doubt in my mind that dogs are the most devoted creatures on the planet. A recent viral photo of a service dog refusing to leave her mother’s hospital bed exemplifies this unwavering devotion.
When Shauna Darcy thought that a dog would assist her in her battle against anxiety, this remarkable relationship was born. And she was absolutely correct. With Ruby, it was love at first sight. Aside from that, he’s a wonderful companion. Shauna unwittingly gained a companion when she acquired Ruby. exactly right!
Shauna told the Dodo that she saw her service dog’s behavior change when she began to detect variations in her owner’s heart rate while she was in the process of training. If you want to grab my attention, for example, paw at me or get on top of me [and other things like that].
In other words, Ruby is Shauna’s own guardian angel. She is always there for her adoptive mother. Shauna has a unique cardiac ailment known as vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which requires her to monitor her blood pressure and heart rate on a regular basis. In addition, she assists her human companion during panic attacks by carrying groceries or picking up dropped goods.
‘She goes on top of me and exerts all of her pressure on me and licks my hands and face until I come around,’ the young lady stated.
Several days ago, Ruby rescued her mother from a potentially fatal situation. She began to warn Shauna that something wasn’t quite right. As a result, the young woman contacted an ambulance even though she was feeling well. “It was discovered that my heart was beating abnormally,” she claimed. As soon as the paramedics arrived, I was in excruciating pain and barely aware.
Shauna is able to take a breath again thanks to her faithful and unique dog. Ruby, on the other hand, is unfazed by this. While her mother was in the hospital, she would not leave her side. Shauna is convinced that the particular relationship she had with Ruby saved her life in the end. She admitted that she “wouldn’t be living without her”.
