When the hummingbird’s unique crown is combined with its magnificent plumage, it truly is one-of-a-kind.

In addition to being a member of the hummingbird family, the rufous-crested coquette is small and plump, and it, like most of the other sub-species, has a dazzling iridescence.

The male Rufous-crested Coquette, on the other hand, is easily distinguished by its magnificent orange crest with black tips.

Its vivid green throat patch and white throat feathers, as well as the rest of its appearance, make it a visual marvel.
