Watch: Missing dog returns home by ringing owners’ doorbell in the middle of the night
They believed they’d lost their dog forever, but this young South Carolina couple’s grief transformed into incredible joy when the puppy returned home on his own in a spectacular way.

One of the neighbors let off fireworks in the backyard, scaring Rajah, an 18-month-old puppy. Mary Lynn and her boyfriend were in tears as they realized they wouldn’t be able to see their pet dog again after that moment. The young couple were devastated and went looking for Rajah all around the neighborhood. They attempted to enlist the assistance of others via social media, but were met with silence. Despite this, the mischievous dog made her way back home after a few hours!
Mary Lynn recalled the incident. “I thought she’d be afraid because she was in the backyard with our other dog when our neighbor started shooting off fireworks,” she recalled. In the back yard, I looked for her, but she was gone. “

After hearing the doorbell ring at 3 a.m., Mary Lynn and her husband, Ryan, bolted from their bed. In the middle of the night, they awoke to find out that Rajah had woken them up. Fortunately, the doorbell camera captured the amazing scene.

The woman remarked, “I don’t even know how she knows how to do that.” The woman said, “I never taught her.” When Ryan woke up, he was still waiting for her to show up. When he saw her on the porch, he dashed outside to get her. Our reaction was, “We’re simply glad you’re back.” She believed she was in great danger [of being missing]. Our stomachs were in knots with laughter the entire time.”
