Orphaned Gorilla Demands To Be Cuddled By His Carer After Being Rescued

This is a priceless image of an orphaned gorilla embracing with his caretaker after being rescued.

Bobga, the infant gorilla from Cameroon, is being cared for by the hospitable nursery staff at the Limbe Wildlife Centre.

As he is shown cuddling with caretaker Alvin Muma, it is evident that Bobga has formed a tight bond with his caregivers.

Bobga has a huge, secure cage where he may hang out when he is not playing with Alvin and others in the nursery.

Fundraising and Communications Coordinator Laura Craddock of the center states:

“It is essential for an orphaned gorilla like Bobga to feel comfortable and secure with his carer, and these photographs depict tender moments of repose between Bobga and one of his devoted caretakers, Alvin.”

As well as the rest, foraging, playing, developing social skills, boosting curiosity, climbing, and grooming are essential components of his rehabilitation.

“We offer victims of illegal wildlife trades a second chance, educate the local population about environmental conservation, and equip ex-hunting groups with alternative work opportunities.”
