Police Come To Rescue A Cute Sloth Trapped On The Highway

This is the moment an unexpected visitor was found clinging to a metal post on the side of the highway.

It was, in fact, a sloth! The long-limbed adventurer was apprehended by local authorities in Quevedo, Ecuador.

After being caught up by Ecuadorian traffic authorities, the sloth was escorted to the vet in one of the cutest rescue missions ever.

After determining that he was in good health, the cops took him back to the woods near where he was found.

Fortunately for us, the officers took photographs and put them on FB for our viewing pleasure.

We can only hope that this sloth does not attempt to cross the road again!
