Today we will share a touching story about two poor, blind puppies eating grass for survival. They were found wandering around in the backyard of an old garage.
According to the neighbors, they had never seen these puppies in the village before. It is possible that they were dumped there by the old owner.
When the rescue team received news from a resident living near the garage, they immediately set out to save the two puppies. When they arrived, they found that there was no food or water around. The pups were eating grass, looking very hungry. Sadly, the two poor puppies were blind.
The staff hurried back to the car to get them some food they had brought. They approach the poor animals and find that they are very weak. They devoured food.
After satisfying their small tummy, the two girls were taken to a vet for a quick check-up. They named them Sasha and Dasha. At the vet, after an examination, they were diagnosed with congenital blindness.
Both have no eye lenses, meaning they cannot see anything. At that time, they were too small and not fully developed yet. It takes 6-7 months before doctors can operate artificial lenses on them.
However, surgery does not guarantee 100% recovery of their eyesight. This is still a good chance for the two girls to try.
After a medical examination, Sasha and Dasha were brought home by one of the rescuers. From now on, they have a home, someone to take care of, and never let them starve again.
The two girls quickly get used to the new environment. They love to shower and play with Christmas tree balls. The inability to see cannot prevent two mischievous girls from having fun and exploring the world around them.
At their new home, Sasha and Dasha befriend Mia, who was also adopted from a Love Furry Friends rescue.
We expect fewer abandoned animals, and owners should be responsible for adopting any animals.
