Shelter Dog Has The Best Reaction When He Sees The Family He Thought He’d Lost Forever

“His tail was wagging like we’d never seen it before, and he was bouncing off the walls!”

In January, a staff member discovered a cow chained to a fence outside the Louisiana SPCA when they arrived for work one morning. The poor dog was rather frightened when he first arrived at the shelter and could not appear to comprehend what was occurring.

NeNe Lewis of the Louisiana SPCA told The Dodo, “He was very timid and would low-growl when meeting new people.” “When he was given sweets and people spoke to him in a babylike manner, he would stop. Since he was discovered tethered to our fence, his reaction is typical.”

Cow grew accustomed to his life in the shelter over time. The team had been working for two months to locate him the ideal new family, until they discovered something even better: the family he had lost.

In March, the shelter discovered that Cow had a family searching for him. He had reportedly been taken from them and ended up at the shelter; when they learned he had been recovered, they were ecstatic.

Cow had been accustomed to and friendly with everyone at the shelter, but when he met his mother again, he displayed a level of happiness that no one had ever witnessed from him.

Cow was overjoyed to see his family, according to Lewis. “His tail was wagging like we’d never seen it before, and he was bouncing off the walls!” His reaction upon seeing his mother indicated that he had been reunited with his family!”

Cow sprang into his mother’s arms and melted into a ball of wiggles and cuddles as soon as he spotted her. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that Cow had returned to his folks, and everyone was overjoyed to have helped make the reunion possible.

Cow was separated from his family for many months, but when he finally reunited with them, it was as if no time had passed. Now that he has settled in with them, he is overjoyed to be back where he belongs.
