Smart Dog Figures Out The Perfect Use For His Mom’s Crystal Ball
Although Baja the Chihuahua mix isn’t a fortune teller, he certainly acts the part.
The dog has developed an obsession with peering into the crystal ball ever since his mother, SmallRubyTouringHat on Reddit, bought one home.
Baja’s family was baffled as to what the young dog was observing in the orb. Could the dog really have an ability to see into the future? No way, they reasoned.

`
Well, it seems that type of…
SmallRubyTouringHat told The Dodo, “Last week I got a crystal ball for decorating and laid it out on my copy of ‘A Thousand and One Nights’ by the window. The following evening, I observed that Baja kept getting up to examine it.
She continued, “He appeared captivated, and I thought it was so strange that he would even care about the little adornment. The way he was just staring at it was really amusing.

Despite his diminutive size, Baja makes a great watchdog, ready to bark whenever a stranger approaches the house too closely.
The living room is below street level, so the dog can’t always sense when someone is getting close. According to SmallRubyTouringHat, “We often just open the lower portion of the blinds so that people can’t look in from the street.” Because of this, he is unable to see out of the window.

Baja’s mother decided to look into it when he wouldn’t leave his new position beside the crystal ball.
She realized Baja was seeing something in the ball as she moved closer, but it wasn’t the future.
The refraction in the crystal ball made me understand that he could see up to the sidewalk, SmallRubyTouringHat stated. When I went over to the crystal to view it from his perspective, I could definitely make out people moving around.

The crystal ball not only gives the living room some flair, but it also gives Baja the satisfaction of knowing that he can use his newly acquired might to defend his family.
Baja had finally found some tranquility thanks to the ball.

When it’s just the family at home, he’s incredibly cozy and laid-back, according to SmallRubyTouringHat. He just wants to be with everyone and is a complete lapdog. Because he is apprehensive about strangers, he prefers to watch the ball.
She continued, “We giggle watching him as he gets up occasionally to check it.
