Spanish police officers risked their lives to rescue a dog from an icy reservoir
To rescue a stranded dog, two Spanish police officers waded into a frozen reservoir to help the poor animal. The incident occurred in the northern part of Spain during cold weather.

Police released video footage showing the officers who stripped to the waist and marched into the frigid waters of the river to bring the animal back to safety on the bank.
The dog was stuck in the reservoir for hours in Canfranc, Aragon, eastern Spain, on Tuesday.
Snow and high winds are forecast for parts of northern Spain on Wednesday.
As a result, the roads will be congested in some areas as people return from their five-day break which ends early that day. To avoid this congestion, traffic authorities are urging everyone to come back by Monday instead of Wednesday so they can avoid delays caused by heavy snowfall and high winds (Spanish Meteorological Agency).
