The 9-year-old boy uses pocket money to feed stray dogs, then raises money to open an animal shelter

While the majority of people are callous when it comes to animals in need of assistance, some are willing to go above and beyond to assist those helpless creatures. However, when this statement is made by a nine-year-old boy, it is nothing short of inspirational!

While the majority of children of this age spend their pocket money on cookies or chocolates, Ken Amante chose to use his for a more noble cause: purchasing food for the unfortunate stray dogs in his area in the Philippines.

Fortunately, the child’s act of compassion did not go unnoticed, and after his remarkable story went viral, thousands of people around the world wanted to share a bit of their goodness with this little hero. Massive donations have been collected, and the 9-year-old dream of opening a sanctuary for all those hapless animals has come true.

Due to Ken’s inherent kindness and modesty, no one was aware of his activities at first. However, after witnessing his son frequently leaving the house with a backpack full of food, his father decided to follow him one day, only to have his heart melt at the sight of what he encountered a few streets away. His baby was encircled by a swarm of stray dogs, all twitching their tails in anticipation of their human buddy sharing food with them.

The pleased father snapped a photo of his youngster and then posted it to Reddit. That is where it all began! The guy wrote: “My son has been feeding neighborhood stray dogs for nearly two weeks.” Today, I accompanied.”

It wasn’t long before the beautiful story spread over the Internet, and Ken became famous for his kindness. He gained widespread support from animal enthusiasts worldwide and, happily, launched a shelter, The Happy Animals Club, shortly thereafter.

“I’ve always had an affinity with animals, even as a child. I was fond of them even as a child,” the boy explained to HNGN. Even as a child, I adored them. My parents informed me that I was already sleeping with my father’s cat, Hajime-kun, before I could speak. When asked about the shelter he founded, Ken stated that it had been his dream since he was a small child.

“I want to save as many of those dogs as I can from unnecessary pain,” he told METRO. Ken’s sanctuary has rescued and rehabilitated hundreds of animals since its inception in 2014. They also feed all stray animals in the neighborhood. This little guy is a true hero!
