The selfless old man builds a dog train to take the saved dogs on adventures

Shortly after retiring, an old man began pursuing a new job in life as a ship’s guide for rescued stray dogs.

Bostick, an 80-year-old man from Texas, has spent his days operating one of the most fabulous trains in the world. His homemade train will take the rescued stray dogs for a walk around the neighborhood.

Bostick said that he never really planned to dedicate his golden years to saving needy dogs. But instead, it started from the carelessness of others forcing him to take on the task of helping out challenging pets as he cannot tolerate the scene of starving abandoned dogs on the streets.

“We live on a dead-end, where my brother and I have a stable,” “Sometimes people stop by and throw the dogs out here to starve to death. So we started feeding them, feeding them in the house, bringing them to the vet to vaccinate them. We have created a place for them to live. “Bostick said.

Over the years, Bostick has adopted hundreds of abandoned stray dogs. He gave them a place to live, full of food and care, but most of all – he found the loveliest way to keep them happy.

Although the dogs had plenty of room to roam around Bostick’s ranch, he still thought it would be nice to be able to take them out on small excursions.

However, he quickly realized that it is not easy to lead many dogs at the same time. That’s when he was inspired to build a dog-specific form of transportation for them.

“One day, I went out and saw this guy with a tractor attached to these carts to pull rocks. I thought, “Dang, that would make a dog train” “I’m a pretty good welder, so I took these hole-punched plastic containers and put the wheels under them and tied them together. “, he said.

And just like that, it’s all aboard dog trains.

Once or twice a week, Bostick will take the dogs under his care around the quiet streets of town or through the surrounding woods near his home. That is something previously unloved dogs enjoy in their happy new life.

“I’m in puberty. I’m 80 years old now, so I don’t think it can last too long, but I’ll keep it as long as I can, “The dogs have had a great time. They just really enjoy it ”.
