Due to financial constraints, many dog owners in Greece leave their pets. Thankfully, there are establishments like Hott Spott, a cafe in Mytilene, Lesbos, which welcomes sloppy animals. According to androdass, it has been allowing the miserable dogs to sleep inside each night since July.
Every night when the pub shuts, the animals come and sleep there. There isn’t a problem here. Since July, a dog has been sleeping on the sofa every night, according to a café waiter who wished to remain unnamed.
The island of Lesbos has also served as the focal point of the exile extremity. The inhabitants have expanded instances of solidarity with regard to humanitarian and environmental causes.
According to Eustratios Papanis, whose original poster of the coffee shop went viral when he shared it on December 3, “the current generation is more sensitive and well-informed.”
