Tiny dog breaks down in tears when reunited with the cow who raised him
A lesson we can all take from animals is how they form close relationships with each other. Regardless of the species, they are able to feel and empathize in ways we can only dream of. Because of this, animals never fail to amaze us when it comes to forming unlikely friendships.
After noticing their dog was spending a lot of time with a cow, this family thought it was nothing to worry about. But what they didn’t know was that the two of them had a very special connection. Only when the cow had to be sold off did they realize how close the two animals were.
When Rookie the dog was just a puppy, he was adopted by this family. A family cow took on the role of mother figure for the tiny puppy, even though his humans loved and cared for him. Adopted by a cow who raised him as her own, the sensitive puppy found all of the comfort he could ever want. So it was no surprise that Rookie was devastated to learn that the cow had been loaded onto a truck and was on its way to being sold.
When he realized his best friend was gone, the sad dog couldn’t hold back his tears as he howled and sobbed. He even chased the truck for a long time, disregarding the owner’s calls, and the man ultimately caught up with him and returned him. Nonetheless, Rookie was in such a state of mourning that he could barely speak. All of a sudden, he was drained of all energy and refused to eat or drink anything. He was utterly distraught at what had happened.
As the owner saw Rookie fade away, he realized he had to do something, so he tried to console the puppy in every way possible, but it was all in vain. There can be only one thing that can bring happiness back to this tiny canine, and that’s bringing back his very best friend. The next morning, the man brought the cow back because all he wanted to do was make his pet happy!
